For Immediate Release Goulds ShurSave, Conyngham, Pa. A 240 ton Crane from Lanes Crane Service in Moscow, Pa. lifts a new 13,200 lb Chiller unit to the center of the roof of Goulds ShurSave Supermarket in Conyngham on Wednesday. The Chiller unit is one of only 6 in the country utilizing the new technology of CO2 as the means for distributing “cold” to display cases. The new frozen display cases will be delivered in 2 weeks, and the system hooked up thereafter. The work is being done by Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service, Inc. of Sugarloaf, and the steel support and roofing preparation by Hinkle Roofing Inc., Weatherly. The new system will be the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly method of keeping frozen food in a supermarket, and Goulds is the only store in Pennsylvania with the system. This is truly a BIG deal, we are the 1st non-chain supermarket to invest in this technology, and Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Services, Inc. is the 1st company within 300 miles to install it. John Cara, Goulds ShurSave
